Bill to regulate private Booms on Kennebec River was read the second time, and the same, on motion of Mr. Benson, was ordered to lie on the table.

Bill for the regulation of Innholders, Common Victuallers and other purposes was taken up and amended, Mr. Merrow moved to indefinitely postpone the same; and the question of indefinite postponement, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Clark, Fish, Greene, Jewett, Mantor, Merrow, Pierce, Purrington, Spear, Staples, Strickland, Swift, Talbot and Weeks _______ 15. Nays: Messrs.
