  To day has been a now pleasant day it rained last night but it cleared away before morning and the sun rose clear and beautifull. nothing of eny interest has taken place to day. I am on stable guard to night.

To day is Sunday and is quite pleasant. we had an Inspection this morning and had one at 4 oclock in the afternoon. an Inspection of Arms.

It has been very cool to day nothing of eny consequence has taken place. 2 Company of Massachusetts Cavalry has come to General Porters Headquarters to relieve us. Porter is now in Washington but is coming back in a few days. we probably shall then return to our Rigement at Fredwick city Maryland.
