I should like to be to home to day where there is a good dry room and a good warm fire to sit down by: where I should not hear the Bugle sound the Stable Call and where I should not her the command! Boys fall in and feed or water the horses &c. but here I am a Soldier and have got to make the best of it and do my duty like a Soldier and no grumbling I am on Stable guard to night. | ||
