Brigadier General Campbell, at present commanding the 8. Division, having presented a plan for forming a new Division on the eastern extremity of this Commonwealth, requested that the same may be established and carried into effect -- the Commander in Chief submitted the subject to the Council, and they having advised to approve of the plan -- it is thereupon ordered, that a new Division be formed out of the eighth Division, to be called the tenth Division of the Militia of Massachusetts, and to comprise the Counties of Hancock
