On an average day would the attendant spend more than an hour a day in the nursing. Ans. Yes sir. Some of them play games with them, threw the hoop and we have the ring toss. Ques. They have the care of the dining room, have to do the dining room work, prepare the food for the meals and that takes some little time. They require some little time to go to their din meals; it is necessary for some of them to go out to town, they have little errands to do. We allow them half a day to themselves sometimes or an evening. Ques. On the whole would it not be safe to say that out of a day of 12 hours, perhaps 10 hours is spent in doing the chamber work and taking care of the wards, and about two hours is spent in the entertainment and nursing of the sick.
