The business of the convention being this accomplished the Senators withdrew.
[Notice of counsellors] Ordered[underlined], that the Secretary of State pro. tem. be directed to notify Isaac Lane Esq., Mark Harris Esq., Abiel Wood Esq., Thomas Fillebrown[?] Esq., William J. Whitney Esp., William Emerson Esp. and William Webber Esq., that they have been chosen Counsellors by joint ballot of the Senators and Representatives in convention agreeable to the Constitution of the State, to advise the Governor in the Executive part of Government for the year ensuing and to request their immediate attendance on the duties of their office. In Senate June 1st 1820 read + passed - sent down for concurrence Read and concurred.
Ordered, that when this House adjourn, it adjourn till tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock.
