Dear Wife

               I cannot amagine why 

I do not hear from you I have been here two weeks and have writen you twice and have not heard a word from you I have been down sick with the Diarrha so I could hardly get up and down so to day they ordered me out on fatigue duty I told the Doct I could not do duty to save my life so he let me stay in to day but I expect to have to go next but I am feble enough I assure you when I wrote to you from here last they would not allow us visitors to come in to the hospitals to see their friends but they have alterd
