be a committee to inform the Governor that the two Houses of the Legislature are now proceeding on public business; and are ready to receive any communication he may be pleased to make them.

In Senate June 2 1820 Read + passed - Sent down for concurrence Read and concurred and Mr Bragdon, of York, Mr Sturdivant of North Yarmouth, and Col. Mervill of Topsham are joined.

[Report of Committee on subject of extra session of L.L.L.P. Kennebec County.]

Committee on the subject of an extra session of the Circuit Court of Common Pleas in the County of Kennebec, reported a Resolve which was read & recommitted to the same committee with a view [?] to have it so altered as to provide for similar sessions in several of the other counties.

Communication was received from Mark Harries Esq, signifying his acceptance as Counselor; and his readiness to take and subscribe the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him for a discharge of the duties of that office.
