[Treasurers Acceptance.] A communication was received from Joseph C Boyd Esq. signifying his acceptance of the office of Treasurer of State.

[Bill - enacted] Bill to annex the town of Harlem to the own of China. which passed to be enacted.

[Petition of Peter Grant & — Gardiner Lyceum —] Petition of Peter Grant and others for the incorporation of Gardiner Lyceum — was read and referred to Messrs Adams of Portland, Bridgham of Leeds & Bonny of Turner.

The committee on engrossed bills report as duly engrossed —

[Resolves - finally passed] Resolves - for the relief of Timothy Wolcott — respecting the Northern & Eastern boundaries of the State were severally finally passed.

[Petition of Converse Lilly & al] Petition of Converse Lilly & others for authority to build a bridge at Clancy's ferry over Eastern river —read and referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report on pet. of Saml Hadlock & others] The committee on the petition of Samuel Hadlock and others, reported a reference to the next Legislature. The report accepted in the Senate, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.
