[pet. Inhabt of Blue Hill] Petition of sundry inhabitants of Blue Hill praying that said town may be compelled to erect and maintain a bridge &c&c Read and committed to the joint standing committee on New Trials. Sent up for concurrence.

[Committee on inspection of all kinds lumber] Ordered that Messrs. Atherton of Prospect, Delano of Woolwich, Elden of Buxton, Redington of Vassalborough and Wyman of Canaan be a committee to enquire into the expediency of enacting a law for the better inspection and survey of all sorts of lumber to be exported from this State. Read and passed.

[pet. Arthur Plummer & al] Petition of Arthur Plummer and others praying that enginemen may be exempted the performance of Military duty. Read and committed to Messrs Lord of Gardiner, McLain of Hope and Miller of Warren.
