Journal of yesterday read by the Clerk.

[Remonstrance - John McKown & others] Remonstrance of John McKown and others agst. a division of the County of Lincoln - was read and ordered to be placed on file with the other papers relating to the same subject. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - school lands Dexter] Bill to authorize the sale of School lands in the town of Dexter in the County of Penobscot - read a 1st and 2nd time and Monday next at 10'o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

[addition to Committee on engrossed Bills] Messrs Cobb of Durham & Frost of Sandford were added to the committee on engrossed bills.

[Bill - duties to be paid by attornies] Bill establishing the duties to be paid by Attornies was read a third time & passed to be engrossed - sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - to prohibit sale of spiritous liquor, Town Meetings] Bill to prohibit the sale or distribution of spiritous liquors on town meeting days at the place where such town meetings are held - was read a third time a passage refused.

[Bill additional respecting masts, spars &c] Bill in addition to "an Act to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, spars and other timber in certain cases" - was read a third time and passed to be engrossed with an amendment - sent up for concurrence.
