[Report — on petition of Caleb Huse & others] Committee on petition of Caleb Huse & others — reported leave to withdraw. Report read & accepted.

[Committee to contract for printing instructed to report before contracting.] On motion of Mr. Sprague, Ordered, That the committee appointed upon the subject of printing for the State be instructed to report to this House before contracting with any person or persons. Read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Petitions &c —] Petitions - of Charles Greene guardian of John Haggins for leave to sell land belonging to his ward and invest the proceeds in such manner as may be most for his interest — of inhabitants of Weld for an abatement of their State tax — of Timothy Shaw, agent for the Social library in Sanford that the proceedings of said association may be made valid — of the inhabitants of Weld that the fee of certain lands may be vested in said town and that they may be authorized to sell & pass deeds of the same — were severally read and referred to the committee on new trials. Sent up for concurrence.
