Bill - relief of Poor Debtors The House resumed the consideration of the Bill "for the relief of Poor Debtors," when after some discussion it was referred to Messrs Virgin of Rumford, Leach of Vassalboro and Adams of Portland.

Rep. additional Court of Sessions The committee to whom was referred the addition-al Act respecting the Courts of Sessions - reported the same with sundry amendments which were adopted — and the report was accepted.

Bill - addition - cort of Sessions Bill "in addition to an Act to establish Courts of Sessions" — was read a third time and passed to be engrossed with amendment at A+B — Sent up for concurrence —

Petition of Lincoln Lodge An order from the Senate referring the petition of John H Seppard in behalf of Lincoln Lodge for an act of incorporation to the committee on the incorporation of parishes and other religious Socie-ties and ministerial and School lands, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.

Committee - excise on Physicians On motion of Mr Clark of Liminston, Ordered[underlined] that Messrs Clark of Limington, White of Standish and McFadden of Embden be a committee with such as the Senat emay join to consider the expediency of laying an excise duty on physicians and surgeons prior to their being admitted to practice in this State, said excise to be expended in payment of the sum alread appre-ciated for the support of the Medical School at Brunswick — read + passed. Sent up for concurrence.
