Monday, January 20th 1823. Met according to adjournment. Journal read.

[Rep. Selectmen of Belgrade] Report on petition of the Selectmen of Belgrade for a confirmation of the doings of said town, granting leave for a Resolve, came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Rep. Select. of Harrison.] Report on petition of the Selectmen of Harrison, that the doings of said town may be made valid, granting an order of notice - came down accepted for concurrence - & the House concurred.

[Rep. Jona. D. Weston] Report on petition of Jonathan D. Weston that the name of the Proprietors of the first Congregational Society in Eastport " may be changed, granting a bill, came down accepted for concurrence - & the House concurred.

[Rep. - Ligonia -] Report on petition of the Selectmen of Ligonia to have the original bounds of said town restored, granting leave to withdraw, came down accepted for concurrence- & the House concurred.

[Rep. A. L. Raymond + als] Report on petition of A. L. Raymond & others to be incorporated by the name of the East river Sluice company - granting leave for a bill, came down accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

[pet. Lincoln Bank] On motion of Mr. McCobb, Ordered, that the Senate be requested to take from their files of 1820 & send down the petition of the President & Directors of the Lincoln Bank with the accompanying papers. Read & passed.
