[Bills] The following Bills having been read a second time were passed to be engrossed - to wit. Bill in addition to An Act to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, spars and other timber, in certain cases - as taken into a new draft - Sent down for concurrence. Bill for the relief of poor debtors as amended. Sent down for concurrence - Bill respecting the Jurisdiction and proceedings of Courts of Probate - Sent down for concurrence - Bill additional respecting the Supreme Judicial Court - Bill to regulate the taking of Fish in Dyer's River - as taken into a new draft. Sent down for concurrence - and the Bill to authorize the sale of School lands in the town of Dexter in the county of Penobscot - as taken into a new draft. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolves] Resolve on the petition of Nancy Buckman passed to be engrossed in the House - came up for concurrence. Read and committed to Messrs. Ripley and Greene. Resolve respecting State Colours and Musical Instruments for the Militia of this State read a second time as taken into a new draft - and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. - Mr. Tallman from the Committee on public lands, to whom that subject was referred report a Resolve in favour of Caleb Jewett for repair of the State road from the North line of Bingham's purchase - which was read and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading - and committed to the Committee on Bills in the second reading.

[Bill recommitted] On motion by Mr. Seaver the vote refusing a second reading to the Bill to authorize the sale of School Lands in Hartford was reconsidered - and the bill recommitted to Messrs. Seaver and Ripley - who reported the same in a new draft, and it was read
