[Bill - school lands in Hartford] Bill authorizing the sale of the School lands in the town of Hartford — was read a 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at 10' o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Report on Governors Message — standard of Weights & Measures] The committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the Standard of Wrights & Measures — reported a reference to the next Legislature — and also a Resolve authorizing the State Treasurer to omit purchasing a standard of Weights & Measures for the State for a certain period — The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence and the House concurred.

[Resolve - authorize Treasurer to suspend purchase &c] Resolve authorizing the State Treasurer to suspend the purchase of a standard of Weights & Measures — was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Report of Committee of Finance] The committee of Finance to whom was referred their report of 23d instant — reported sundry amendments and additions thereto and also a Resolve. The report was read and accepted.

[Resolve - loan $40,000] Resolves authorizing the Treasurer to borrow Forty Thousand Dollars to be applied to the payment of the debt of the State — were read twice and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - jurisdiction of Dennets Island.] Bill to cede to the United States the jurisdiction of Dennets Island, so called, in Piscataquis river — was read a third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
