[Bill - Courts to dispose of poor Convicts] Report of the Committee on the "Bill granting a Toll to the County of Cumberland to reimburse the expense of a Bridge to be erected at the expense of said County over Presumscot River at Staples point" was agreeably to assignment taken up and after some discussion accepted.

[Bill - Militia] Ordered that the consideration of the Bill "to organize, govern, and discipline the Militia of the State" be postponed until tomorrow morning at 9 o clock.

[Committee - to under law cheaper] Ordered That Messrs Clark of Limington, Howard of Brownfield and Vose of Augusta be a committee to consider what method may be taken to render processes in Law less expensive, with leave to report by bill or otherwise. Read and passed.
