Met according to adjournment. Journal read.

[Committee discharged & a new one appointed -]

Mr Parker of Gardiner was excused from serving on the Committee to whom was referred the petition of William Sanborne & als - and Messrs McKown, Bodwell, & Butterfield were added to said committee.

[Bill - East River Sluice Company]

Bill to incorporate the East river Sluice Company, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Mark Traftons Accounts referred]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, referring the Accounts of Mark Trafton one of the land agents to the Committee on Public Lands - & the House concurred.

[Remonstrances - Pownal]

Remonstrance of the town of Pownal against a division of the County of Lincoln, was referred to the Committee on the petition of George Rogers & als. Sent up for concurrence

[Committees ordered to report as soon as may be.]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the several joint Committees of the Legislature to report as soon as may be on all the subjects committed to them - and the House concurred

[pet. Sel. of Chesterville]

The petition of the selectmen of Chesterville, referred in this House on the 18th inst. to the committee on the incorporation of Parishes &c &c came back from the Senate nonconcurred - and the House then committed the same to Messrs Smith, Carlton & Sargent.

[Resolve - Greenleafs Reports]

Resolve for purchasing Greenleaf Reports, was read 2nd time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence
