[170] Tuesday February 5, 1822 - afternoon - [1822 Feb. 5] Bill authorizing the sale of Ministerial and School lands - and bill additional respecting Bowdoin College passed to be engrossed in the House came up for concurrence - and they were severally read and committed - the first to Messrs. Wheeler and Pierce - and the other to Mserrs Wheeler and Dennet and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading. Bill to authorize the sale of Ministerial and School lands in the town of Lubec belonging to the town of Eastport was read a second time and passed to be engrossed - Sent down for concurrence. On motion by Mr. Wheeler the votes refusing a second reading to the Bill incorporating the Castine School fund - and the Bill incorporating the Trustees of the Castine Ministerial fund were severally reconsidered and the Bills ordered to be laid on the table - and they were then committed to Messrs Wheeler and Dennett -
Mr Green from the Committee on incorporation of towns reported a reference to the next Legislature the petitions of Inhabitants of Jarvis Gore - and of Luther Fogg & others - which reports were severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence - came up concurred-
