Friday evening February 8 - 1822 -

[Message from House for conference on Bills for salaries &c.] A message from the House by Mr. Child their Clerk - "Mr President The House of Representatives insist on their former vote non concurring with the Senate in referring to the next Legislature the Bill in addition to an Act establishing the Salaries of certain officers - and propose a committee of conference on the disagreement of the two Houses - they have on their part appointed Messrs. Parsons, Todd and Eldon - and they request the concurrence of the Senate." Which proposition being agreed to by the Senate - Messrs. McDonald, Bond and Seaver were appointed on their part - and the Secretary was directed to notify the House thereof.

[Bills] Bill relating to the Ministerial Funds of the Congregational Society in Buxton was read twice and passed to be engrossed - Sent down for concurrence -

[Resolves] Resolve on the pay roll of the Senate was read twice and passed to be engrossed - Sent down for concurrence - Resolve respecting State Colours and Musical Instruments was read a second time as taken into a new draft and passed to be engrossed - Sent down for concurrence -

Resolve providing for Indices to the Journals of the House of Representatives - came up from the House for concurrence - Read & committed to Messrs. Wheeler and Pierce - who report the same with amendments and in a new draft - Read and passed to be engrossed - Sent down for concurrence -

[Report of Committee of Conference on Buxport bill]

The Committee of conference on the subject of the disagreement of the two houses respecting the Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the Bucksport Ministerial Fund reported that the Senate adhere to their vote refering the bill to the next Legislature. - Report accepted.
