Wednesday afternoon Feb. 6 - 1822 -

[Petitions committed] On motion - Ordered that the Petitions of the Inhabitants of Wilton and of the Inhabitants of Green be taken from the files of the Senate and placed in the hands of the Committee on new trials

[Bills] The following Bills having been twice read were severally passed to be engrossed to wit - Bill additional to the Act for the Inspection of Fish - Bill in addition to An Act to establish Courts of Sessions a substitute for the Bill on the same subject - according to the report of the committee of conference - in concurrence with the House. Bill to establish the Castine School Fund, as amended - Sent down for concurrence

Bill to establish the Castine Ministerial Fund - as amended - Sent down for concurrence - and the Bill to prevent the destruction of Fish - Sent down for concurrence -

["] Bill to enable persons associated together for the purpose of protecting their property from fire to become corporate &c - read a second time and refused a passage to be engrossed - Bill to incorporate the Portland Steam Boat Navigation Company read a second time and committed to the Committee on New Trials - The Bill respecting stone lime refused a passage to be engrossed in the Senate, was sent back to the House at their request.

[Resolves] The following Resolves were passed to be engrossed to wit Resolve granting four hundred dollars to build a bridge over Great Works River - sent down for concurrence Resolve respecting the Penobscot Indians - sent down for concurrence and Resolve authorizing the Governor to appoint one or more agents for the preservation of the timber on the public lands & for other purposes -
