An order came from the Senate appointing Messrs Southwick & Parlin with such as the House may join a committee to consider the expediency of making an appropriation for opening the Kennebec Road through the States Land, North of the Million acres for concurrence - and the House concurred and Messrs Hobart of Temple, Spooner of New Portland & Stewart of Etna were joined.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, instructing the Committee on Militia & Military affairs who have under consideration the petition of the officers of Artillery in the town of Bristol to enquire whether one gun to each Company of Artillery would not be sufficient especially where the guns are sixpounders, & to report on the expediency of so arranging the Artillery of the State that there shall be but one gun to each Company - and the House concurred.

Petition of the Court of Sessions of Lincoln County for an alteration in the time allowed by law for returning the votes for County Treasurer in said County, referred in Senate to the Committee on the subject of Courts of Sessions came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of the town of Hollis for the establishment & demarcation of their town lines, referred in Senate to the Committee on the incorporation of towns, came down for concurrence & the House concurred.

Petition of Joseph D Jewett & als of St Albans on the subject of the fisheries in said town, referred in Senate to the Committee on Interior fisheries, came down for concurrence & the House concurred.
