Resolve for the benefit of the Gardiner Lyceum, came from the Senate amended as in a new draft - The House amended the new draft at A and passed the same to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Resolve relating to the States Printing - The motion made on the 19th inst to reconsider the vote passing this Resolve was taken up and decided by yeas & nays as follows - 63 yeas. 74 news. and the vote was not reconsidered.

Report on the petition of Josiah Califf & als granting leave for a Bill came down accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

The following order was moved, Ordered that the Secretary of State be instructed to receive sealed proposals from the different printers in the town of Portland for the State Printing for the current political year Mr White moved an indefinite postponement of the subject & the motion prevailed 83 pro. 29 con. Mr Fessbender immediately moved a reconsideration of the last vote and the House assigned tomorrow at 10 oclock to consider the motion.
