Resolve relating to the Kennebec Road - (reported as duly engrossed) was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve granting a pension to James Pomroy - was read a 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve granting a pension to Timothy Hall Junior, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve granting compensation to Joseph Emery 3d, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Ordered, that Messrs Richardson of Portland, Pond of Bucksport & Webber of Lovell, be a Committee to consider the expediency of repealing "an act to cede to the United States of America the jurisdiction of certain Lands" passed the present Session, and also to consider the expediency of passing a new act conformable to the prayer of the Petitioner on the subject to which the act here referred to relates - read and passed.

Resolve granting compensation to Reuel Weston, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of Martins point Bridge, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Ordered that the Committee on Finance be instructed to apportion & assess a tax on the State of Forty five thousand one hundred & twenty dollars and fifty seven cents. - Read & passed.

The special Committee of this House to whom was referred the Bill "in addition to the several acts now in force to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State" reported the same in a new draft, which was read & Friday next at 10 oclock assigned to consider the same and 200 Copies ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.
