[Message] A Message was then received from the House by Mr. Child, their Clerk, concurring with the Senate in their foregoing proposition.
[Message from the Governor] The Secretary of State then came in and laid on the table, a written Message from the Governor, addressed to the two Houses of the Legislature, which was read and laid on the table
[Senator Qualified] Jonas Wheeler Esq. of Campden, having been elected to supply one of the vacancies in the Senate Board, from the County of Lincoln, and having been thereof duly notified by the Secretary of State, came in and was conducted by Mr. McDonald, to the Governor and Council when he was duly qualified, and afterwards took his seat.
[Convention for choice of Counsellors] At twelve Oclock the two Houses met in Convention for the purpose of electing seven Counsellors and a Secretary of State.
The whole number of Ballots given for Counsellors, was 153 Necessary for a choice 77
