Bill in addition to the several acts now in force to organize, govern and discipline the Militia of this State, came from the Senate, that body insisting on their amendments - House also insisted a appointed Messrs McCobb of Phipsburg, Adams of Portland & Vance of No 6, as Conferees.

Bill authorizing the town of Bangor to purchase the Bridge over the Kenduskeag River in said town, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of Samuel Cony & for establishing the salary of the Adjutant General, (reported by the Committee on that subject) was read [underlined]once & passage to a 2d reading refused.

Resolve making an appropriation for the State Printing, (laid on the table on motion) was read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill in addition to an act to prevent and punish Trespasses - was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed as amended at A. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill in addition to an act to establish the Cumberland & Oxford Canal, was read a 3d time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
