194 Resolve expressing approbation of the public services of President Munroe, (reported in a new draft which was adopted, was read & [underlined]unanimously passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Resolve making appropriation for State printing, came from the Senate - The House took the same into a [underlined]second new draft which was adopted & passed the Resolve to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that when this House adjourns, it adjourn until seven olcock this evening.

A message was received from the Senate informing this House that the [they] should adjourn, when they did adjourn until seven oclock this evening.

Bill in addition to an act to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State, came again from the Senate that body adhering to their votes & appointing Messrs Dunlap & Ripley & Campbell as Conferees - The House [underlined]adhered also and appointed as Conferees on their part Messrs McCobb of Phipsburg Adams of Portland & Chase of Livermore -

The Committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - to prevent frauds in the business of Banks and of Public Officers & trusts - - in addition to an Act to prevent & punish Trespasses - - authorizing the town of Bangor to purchase the Bridge over Kenduskeag River in said town - - providing for the distribution of Copies of the Constitution of this State and of the United States to be used in Schools - - authorizing the town of Portland to assess a tax on the owners of Dogs - which were passed to be [underlined]enacted.
