Resolve authorizing a loan of $30,000 at an annual interest, not exceeding 6 for ct or such part of said sum as the exigences of the State may require. Read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Committee on Finance to assess a tax of 50,000]

Ordered that the Committee on Finance be directed in the tax bill to apportion on the several towns and plantations in this State according to their valuation and number of Polls a tax of $50.000 for the current year, the sum so apportioned on the polls to be one fifth part of said $50000.
