[1824] concurrence with the House;

[Petitions referred] The following Petitions committed in the House to the Committee on Parishes &c. came up for concurrence, viz: Petition of William Mann Agent of 2nd Parish in Shapleigh for lease to sell Ministerial lands; Petition of Washington Lodge to be incorporated; Petition of Samuel Hadlock and others to have the School money assessed upon them, expended on the Island of Mt. Desert; and Petition of Tranquil Lodge to be incorporated, and they were severally read and referred to the same Committee in concurrence with the House.

Petition of Abraham Thomas and others to have the Militia of Eden and Mt. Desert inspected on Mt. Desert Island, committed in the House to the Committee on the Militia &c. came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of Henry Stewart of No. 5 - 2nd Range Somerset County, that he and others may be quieted in possession of certain lands, committed in the House to the Committee on State Lands, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of Ligonia that the name of said Town may be changed to that of Fairfax, committed in the House to the Committee on Towns, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Petition of Selectmen of Frankfort for authority to raise money for the benefit of William Page committed in the House to the Committee on New Trials, came up for concurrence was read &
