[1824] [Committee on the Bonds given for settling duties &c] of the Governors Message as relates to the personal property assigned by Massachusetts to Maine, be instructed to enquire into the situation of the bonds given for the performance of settling duties which by the Act of separation remained in Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to be enforced commuted, released or otherwise disposed of in manner as said Commonwealth might thereafter determine. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Petition referred] Petition of John Glidden Jr. for leave to extend his Wharf in New Castle, was taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes &c. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Petitions referred] Petition of Joseph Houlten and others to have a road opened from Penobscot River to Houlton Plantation; and Petition of Trenton to have the State Lands in Ellsworth granted them for the use of the Ministry, committed in the House to the Committee on State Lands, came up for concurrence, were read and concurred.
