[Resolves] Resolve fixing the place for the next meeting of the Legislature and for other purposes was read a second time as taken into a new draft and passed to be engrossed - sent down for concurrence - Resolve in favour of certain clergymen was also read a second time and passed to be engrossed - sent down for concurrence. Resolve in favour of Caleb Jewett - was read a second time- and refused to be passed -

[Poor debtors bill] The vote on the Bill for the relief of Poor debtors, insisting on part of the amendments of the Senate thereto is reconsidered - and the Senate now insist on their former amendments in which the House have non concurred - and ordered

[committee of conference] that Messrs Bond Ripley and Seaver be a committee of conference on the part of the Senate as to the disagreement of the two houses on said bill - and that a message go to the House requesting a concurrence - A message was received from the House - that they concurred in the proposition of the Senate for a conference committee in the disagreement of the two Houses in regard to the aforesaid bill and that on the part of the House Messrs Leach Wilkins and Tucker were appointed a committee of conference

[additional salary to atty Genl] On motion - ordered that Messrs Ripley and Wheeler be a committee to enquire into the expediency of allowing a sum in addition to the salary now allowed to the attorney general of the State with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise

[Remonstrance] Remonstrance of the Inhabitants of Edgecomb against the petitions o sundry persons for a division of the county of Lincoln committed in the House to the Committee who have that subject under consideration came up for concurrence - read and committed to the same committee in concurrence with the House
