Resolve on the petition of Luke Lambert - was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill for the benefit of Bowdoin College (reported in a new draft) was read a 2nd time and refused a 3d reading. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill additional to an act to prevent fraud in firewood, bark & Coal exposed to sale, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill additional to an act regulating Divorces, was read a 3d time & refused a passage -

Message from the Senate by Mr Smith their Secretary. Mr Speaker, The Senate have concurred the House in their proposed amendments to the engrossed Bill to incorporate the Union Bank, excepting in Sec. 14 and have further amended the Bill at L &, at O and at P. and request the concurrence of the House - The House so far reconsider all their former votes as to concur the Senate in passing the Bill to be engrossed as by them amended.

Bill to regulate the taking of Fish in the town of Brooksville, was read 1st & 2d & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolves, granting a pension to Timothy Hall Junior - - granting compensation to Reuel Weston - - granting compensation to Joseph Emery 3d - were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill for the benefit of Town Schools, was read a 2nd time, and referred to the next Legislature.

The House reconsidered their vote of 5th February passing to be enacted the Bill establishing the Salary of the Governor & referred the subject indefinitely. Sent up for concurrence.
