Afternoon,

Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by Law, for procuring all the Records of the Supreme Judicial Court for the Several Counties in this State, which are now deposited in Boston, to be transcribed & certified and deposited with the Clerks of the Counties to which they belong, together with all the original papers belonging to said Records. And Also to consider the expediency of causing all the special Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which relate to subjects in Maine, and all Resolves of said Commonwealth relating to grants of lands or other subjects in Maine to be publicized for the use of this State - with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, was read and passed in concurrence,

Bill additional to the several Acts now in force respecting Highways. came up from the House of Representatives, in a new draft was read a first time tomorrow, 10 oclock assigned for a second reading and in the mean time was committed to Messrs Stebbins, Holland and Churchill,

Mr. Dunn from the Committee on Bills in the second reading reported Resolve making appropriation for expense of the State Arsenal in a new draft and the same was read and passed to be engrossed as taken into this new draft sent down for concurrence, Came up concurred,

Mr. Parsons, from the Committee on Interior Fisheries, reported reference to the next Legislature on the petition of John Whitmore & others Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred,
