The Committee on the petition of the Selectmen of Greenwood reported the following Order, & the report was accepted
Ordered that the Committee on Finance be directed to deduct from the State Valuation set to the town of Greenwood in the County of Oxford the sum of five thousand seventy five dollars being the amount of the valuation on property in said town belonging to Phillips Academy, State of Massachusetts and which property by a low of this State is not liable to taxation – read & passed.
