Ordered that the Senate be requested to send to this House Bill respecting broad rimmed cart wheels now upon their last years files. read & passed. Sent up.

Bill – to incorporate the Saco Iron Works Company, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, to enquire into the expediency of amending “An act to incorporate the North Yarmouth Academy with leave to report &c – and the House concurred.

Messrs Dean of Ellsworth & Chandler of Calais have leave of absence after Saturday next.

Mr Morse of Mt Vernon has leave of absence after Monday next.

Report on the petition of Joseph Southwick & als, granting leave for a Bill, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence – and the House concurred.

Bill – authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of a Bridge at Sullivan Ferry, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed Sent up for concurrence.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Prime & Southwick with such as the House may join a Committee for the purpose of taking into consideration the expediency of granting the consent of this State for the erection
