Mr Hudson of Clinton has leave of absence after today.

The committee on Elections made a further report by which it appears that Jonas Farnsworth was duly elected & is entitled to hold a seat in this House – and the report was accepted.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, directing the committee on Literature and Literary Institutions to inquire into the expediency of distributing to each College in this State a copy of the acts and Resolves of this State, and of such Acts & Resolves as may be annually passed by the Legislature; and the House concurred.

Bill – to incorporate the seven mile brook Dam Company, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow Tuesday next at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading

Resolve in favor of North Yarmouth Academy, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve for completing & repairing the State road from Baring to Houlton Plantation, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill – making further provision relating to the State road from Sunkhaze to Mattawamkeag, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
