Met according to adjournment.

The committee on the Judiciary to whom it was referred the [illegible} requesting the Governor to make application to the Secretary of War for the service of a Topographical Engineer, in this State, reported a reference of the subject to the next Legislature - and the report was accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill. additional to an act to enforce the payment of Bank notes and for other purposes, came from the Senate in a new draft for concurrence and the House refused to concur and post poned the subject indefinitely. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve for the payment of accounts against the State -

- for the payment of contingent expenses - 
- for the purchase of Stationary - 
- remitting certain fees to the Secretary of State
- authorizing the Governor + Council to appoint Commissioners

to examine Banks -

- providing for the conveyance of lands granted by the State
- appointing an Agent to procure certain articles - 

which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Resolve - in the petition of Luke Lambard, which was finally passed. The question was taken by yeas + nays as follows (see appendix page 331) yeas 55 nays 35. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve relating to the State Printing, came from the Senate in a new draft for concurrence. The question "Will the House recede from their former vote passing the Resolve" was decided in the negative by yeas + nays as follows (see appendix page 333) yeas 39 . Nays 57 + so the House nonconcurred the Senate in passing the new draft.
