The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed

Bill – establishing salaries for Judges & Registers of Probate.

-additional act respecting executors, administrators and guardians, and the conveyance of Real Estate in certain cases.

-to exempt certain goods & chattels from attachment & execution and from distress for taxes

which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – additional to an act regulating judicial process and proceedings, came from the Senate with the following certificate – “read and the proposition of the House for a conference accepted, and Mess Stebbins, Churchill and Southwick appointed conferences[?] on the part of the Senate”

The committee on the Judiciary to whom was referred the

Bill – imposing a duty on sales of Lottery Tickets, reported the same as in a new draft, which was read 1st & 2d time & this afternoon at 4 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve relating to the State Prison, came from the Senate that body insisting upon their vote of 6th inst. – The House voted also to insist upon their vote of 25 [?] Sent up.

The Committee on the Judiciary reported the following Resolve and the report was accepted.

Resolve for publishing certain Laws & Resolves of Massachusetts in force in Maine, was read a 1st & 2nd time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence
