The following Petitions committed in the House to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals, came up for concurrence, viz

Petition of Joseph Walkin and others proprietors of Steam's Pond Canal for an increase of toll;

Petition of John Haus [?] and others to have a Bridge erected over Castine River at Davis' narrows;

Petition of Falmouth for assistance to keep Presumpscot old Bridge repaired by the State; and

[Remonstrance]

Remonstrance of Paul Woodman and others against Petition of Joseph Woodman and others and they were severally read & referred to the same committee in concurrence with the House.

the following Petitions committed in the House to the Committee on Parishes came up for concurrence, viz:

Petition of Porter for leave to sell their ministerial Lands;

Petition of Samuel Nevers [?] and others of Sweden that the Selectmen, Treasurer and Clerk of said town be constituted a Board of Justicees for Ministerial Lands in said town;

Petition of David Shell and others of Georgetown to be incorporated by the name of the Free Society of Georgetown; and

[Remonstrance]

Remonstrance of Inhabitants of Sweden against Petition of Samuel Nevers and others, and they were severally read and referred to the same committee in concurrence with the House
