Resolve granting compensation to Heman Nye”, were severally read once and committed, and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.

[Message for the Deed]

On motion of Mr. Southwick,

Ordered that a message be sent to the House requesting them to send up the Deed of Joshua Gage & als. referred from the last to the present Legislature: And the Deed came up and was committed to Messrs Southwick, Whitney and Kelsey.

[Report on Petitions]

Mr. Whitney from the Committee,

on petition of Eliashib Adams,” and

on petition of Proprietors of Steuben Meeting house,”

reported that they severally have leave to withdraw their petitions: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence.
