Mr. Tallman from the Committee, on the petition of Jonathan Hyde and others reported that the Committee be discharged from any further consideration of the subject; Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence; came up concurred. -
Mr. Small from the Committee on the petition of Thomas Haven and others, reported that the petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition with the order thereon to be published in the Portsmouth Journal and New Hampshire Gazette three weeks successively, the last publication to be sixty days at least before the first wednesday of the first session of the next Legislature: - Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -
[Order concerning the location of the seat of Government]
Order of the House that the report of the Committee appointed agreeably to a Resolve of the last session to enquire as to the place most suitable for the permanent location of the seat of Government, with accompanying papers be referred to the next Legislature, came up for concurrence, was read and the further consideration of the subject postponed till tomorrow at ten oclock. - Adjourned to half past two oclcock P.M. -
