[Motion of Genl. McDonald concerning Bill not sustained]

On motion of Mr. McDonald, Ordered that a message be sent to the Secretary of State requesting him to return to the Senate the Bill relating to the Districting of the State for the choice of Representatives to Congress, and prescribing the mode of election. -

Mr. McDonald then moved for a reconsideration of the vote by which the Bill was passed to be engrossed, which motion was not sustained. -

On motion of Mr. McDonald, Ordered that the Secretary of State be directed to notify the Governor that the two Houses of the Legislature on the 28th day of January current, elected Dwelly Turner Esq. of Bath, Major General of the fourth Division of the Militia of this state: sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -
