Order of the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Carpenter, White, Parson, Bradford, Warren, Putnam, McClure, Pond, Summer and Sayward with such as the Senate may join to inquire into the expediency of fixing a minimum price below which the land Agent shall not be permitted to sell at auction the townships and half townships appropriated for the purpose of erecting public buildings with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence and Messrs Herrick, Balkam, Cutler, Shaw and Parsons were joined

[Resolve - aggressions on N. E. Frontier]
Mr. Megguier from the Committee in the Governor's message of the 2nd. instant and accompanying report of Charles S. Davis Agent appointed by the Executive to examine into and report upon certain facts relating to aggressions upon the rights of the Province of New Brunswick, reported that they had carefully examined the same, and recommend that five hundred, copies of the Report of the Agent to be printed, three hundred there of for the use of the members of the Legislature and two hundred there to be disposed of at the pleasure of the Governor. Read and accepted Sent down for concurrence The Committee also reported Resolve relating, to aggressions upon the North Eastern frontier and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 O.Clock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve in favor of certain chiefs of the Penobscot Indians was read once, ordered to a second reading again read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.
