Tuesday January 17. 1826.

The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment.

On motion by Mr. Pond a message was sent to the House of Representatives proposing a Convention of the two Houses, in the Representatives at 12 oclock today for the purpose of choosing a Counsellor in the place of Joseph Shaw who had declined accepting that office and requesting the concurrence of the House

A message was received from the House signifying their concurrence in the foregoing proposition

Petition of Jesse Stone and others for a Bank at Livermore, was read and referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
