Petition of Selectmen of Richmond on the subject of the Poor of said town, was read and referred to Messrs Williams of Augusta, Eaton of Bowdoin & Eaton of Milburn.

Report of Committee on order of 24th Jany on subject of erecting a Bridge over Passadumkeag Stream &c, granting a Resolve, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Resolve authorizing the Land Agent of the State to expend a certain sum in building a bridge over Passadumkeag & other streams, was read 1 & 2d time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve from Senate establishing the times of holding the Courts of Probate in the County of Penobscot, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

The Committee on the report of the Land Agent, made a report which was accepted by the House in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill respecting the Inspection of Beef, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Bill to incorporate the Canal Bank - was called up, amended, and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Joseph Freeman & als for a revision of the Militia Law, was read & refd to the special committee of the House on the subject -

Petition of Isaiah Willis for authority to sell part of the estate of John Willis also Remonstrance of Jonathan Cummings against the same - were read & referred to the Committee on New Trials. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the relief of John Sargent, was read a 2d time & referred to Messrs McCobb of Phipsburg, Spring of Biddeford & Shaw of Northport -
