Ordered that the Committee on New Trials be instructed to enquire into the expediency of annexing township No 8 in the County of Oxford to the Representative district composed of the towns of Rumford &c - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of Edward Cobb in behalf of the Society of Friends for a law to secure to them more effectually property given to them by way of Grant &c - was read & referred to Messrs Eveleth of Windham Leach of Raymond & Swett of Newburg.

Petition of Abner Bourne & al to be incorporated by the name of the Brunswick Force Pump Company, was read and referred to the Committee on applications from Manufacturing Company. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Bank of Maine (lately called the Columbian Bank) was taken up & passed to be engrossed as amended by the Senate & further amended by the House. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Commercial Bank, was called up, & passed to be engrossed as amended by the Senate & further amended by the House. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Vassalboro Bank, was called up and passed to be engrossed as amended by the Senate & further amended by the House. Sent up for concurrence.
