Bill - authorizing the South School District in the town of Eastport to borrow money, was taken up and the House receded from their former vote & referred the subject to the next Legislature.

On motion, Ordered, that the order of the 19th inst, directing the committee on the Pay Roll to deduct from the daily pay of each member of the House the number of days he is absent &c be suspended in its operation.

Resolve, providing for payment of the Adjutant & Quarter Master Generals accounts, was taken up & the House adhered to their vote postponing the same indefinitely. Sent up.

Resolve in favor of Augustus G. Deal & Samuel Nelson laid on the table by Mr Swan, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
