Order of the House of Representatives that the committee who have under consideration the subject relating to Sheriffs be instructed to report a bill providing a reduction of fif- -teen per cent on collection fees. to prohibit the Sheriffs from taking from their Deputies any sum exceeding ten per cent on all collection fees - to fix the daily allowance of the Sheriffs while attending Courts at Three Dollars per day

- and also to make such general provisions as shall be necess-

ary to make the system conformable to this order - was read and non concurred

"That Messrs Shaw, White and Goodwin with such as the Senate may join be a Committee to inquire into the expediency of repealing the Act passed March 7th 1826 exempting certain goods and chattels from attachment and execution, came up for concurrence - non concurred and referred the committee on the Judiciary. That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so amending the Law in rela- tion to highways as to limit the time for claiming damages for land taken for any public street or highway laid out by authority of the town was read and passed in concurrence.
