Afternoon, The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a written Message from the Governor inclosing a petition of Erastus Foote Attorney General of the State, for remuneration on account of certain services by him performed, and the message was read and together with the petition referred to Messrs Williams and Dunn, with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred and Messrs Blaney, Cobb and Chase were joined

Bill establishing the County of Waldo was read a first time and tomorrow, at three oclock assigned for a second reading.

Mr. Churchill from the Committee on Engrossed Bills, reported the following to be truly copied viz, Bill to change the names of certain Banks and Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of Ten mile Brook Canal, and the same were severally passed to be enacted and also Resolve respecting a Bridge between Kittery and the Navy Yard Island in Piscataqua River and Resolve in favor of the Cony Female Academy and the same were finally passed
