Petition of Samuel Hale & als on subject of a bridge across Cathance river - of Thomas Jackson & als that a Bridge may be chartered across the Kennebec at Gardiner - also Remonstrance of Moses Bradbury & als agst the petition of Jona Tucker & als were severally read & referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals - Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Samuel Adams & als for a revision of the law authorizing the S. J. Court to lay out Highways &c, was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

An order came from the Senate directing the Judiciary to enquire as to the expediency of increasing the Salary of the Judge of Probate for the County of Kennebec, for concurrence and the House concurred.
